1 RESOLUTION NO. 2013-180
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A DONATION OF $109,686.83 IN
SUPPORT OF THE CARLSBAD SENIOR CENTER
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad Senior Center was presented with a donation from the Lee
Elson and Maria Elson Trust on March 27, 2013; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept this donation in the amount of
$109,686.83; and
WHEREAS, on April 25, 2013 the Senior Commission recommended acceptance of the
donation in the amount of $109,686.83 by the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California
as follows:
14 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
15 2. That the City Council does hereby accept the $109,686.83 cash donation.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting ofthe City Council ofthe City
