RESOLUTION NO. 2013-209
A RESOLUTtON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CAUFORNIA, APPROVING THE 2012-13 MEMORANDUM
OF UNDERSTANDING FOR THE SRO PROGRAM BETWEEN THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD AND THE CARLSBAD UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the City of CaHsbad agreed to provide the CaHsbad Unified School
District with the School Resource Officer ("SRO") Program for the school year of 2012-13;
and
WHEREAS, the CaHsbad Unified School District has agreed to pay for one-half the
cost of a full-time officer for the nine-months of the SRO Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Memorandum of Understanding for the SRO Program between the
City of CaHsbad and the CaHsbad Unified School District is hereby approved.
3. That the Mayor of the City of CaHsbad is hereby authorized and directed to
execute said agreement for and on behalf of the City of CaHsbad, California.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting ofthe City Council ofthe City
of Carlsbad on the 27*^ day of August, 2013, by the following vote to wit:
