2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING A CALENDAR OF THE DATE AND
LOCATION FOR REGULAR MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR
CALENDAR YEAR 2014

5 WHEREAS, in December 2012, Council amended Chapter 1.20 of the Carlsbad Municipal
^ Code instituting a procedure to establish annually by resolution, the regular meeting schedule
ofthe City Council; and,
WHEREAS, the Ralph M. Brown Act, provides for the establishment of an annual regular
meeting calendar procedure; and
\l WHEREAS, special meetings will be called as necessary, following the requirements of
12 the Brown Act; and,
WHEREAS, the 2014 calendar for City Council regular meetings is attached as Exhibit A
to this resolution, and shall also be posted to the city's website.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California
as follows:
