2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
^ CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING AN INTERIM CITY MANAGER
4 WHEREAS, the City Manager announced his resignation effective February 28, 2014; and
5 WHEREAS, Assistant City Manager Kathy Dodson has the skills, knowledge and ability to
^ serve as the interim City Manager until the successor City Manager takes office.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council ofthe City of Carlsbad, California
as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.

Manager takes office.
3. That the Administrative Services Director is authorized to transfer $26, 903 from
the City Council contingency account to cover this expense.
