2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE FUNDING RECOMMENDATIONS OF
THE COMMUNITY ACTIVITY GRANT CITIZEN REVIEW COMMITTEE
4 AND APPROVING THE DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS TO THE
IDENTIFIED ORGANIZATIONS ON A REIMBURMSEMENT BASIS
5 ONLY.

y WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, appointed a seven-
8 member Citizen Review Committee to review Community Activity Grant applications and to
^ create funding recommendations; and
WHEREAS, the Citizen Review Committee has recommended five (5) organizations and
the associated funding amounts, as set forth in Exhibit 2 and attached for reference purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,

the Carlsbad Village Scavenger Hunt in May; funds
to help offset advertising, promotional materials
rental equipment, supplies, etc.

the first is the cherry tree planting at the Arbor
Day Festival and the second is to benefit the
