2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF
THE PALOMAR AIRPORT ROAD AND COLLEGE BOULEVARD
4 INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS, PROJECT NOS. 6028 & 6029, AS
COMPLETE AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO RECORD NOTICE OF
5 COMPLETION AND RELEASE BONDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH STATE
LAW AND CITY ORDINANCES.

WHEREAS, the construction of the Palomar Airport Road and College Boulevard
Intersection Improvements was completed to the city's satisfaction by PAL General Engineering,
Inc. on July 11, 2014; and
11 WHEREAS, the formal Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
12 WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California

as follows:

1. That the above recitations are true and correct.

2-7 2. That the Palomar Airport Road and College Boulevard Intersection
18 Improvements, specifically identified as Project Nos. 6028/6029 is deemed complete and is
^9 hereby accepted by the City Council ofthe City of Carlsbad.
3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to
execute and record the Notice of Completion for the Palomar Airport Road and College Boulevard
Intersection Improvements, Project Nos. 6028 & 6029.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting ofthe City Council ofthe City
of Carlsbad on the 26*'^ day of August, 2014, by the following vote to wit:
