A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ONE MEMBER TO THE CARLSBAD
TOURISM BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT BOARD (CTBID).

7 WHEREAS, City Council Resolution No. 2005-332 states that Council wishes the
8 membership of the committee to contain members representing the largest hotel businesses
within the City on a permanent basis; and,
WHEREAS, Omni La Costa Resort & Spa is one ofthe largest hotel businesses within the
City; and.
WHEREAS, Board Member David Kirken is no longer employed by Omni La Costa Resort
& Spa, and therefore is no longer a member ofthe CTBID; and.

j2 WHEREAS, Larry Magor has been named the new General Manager of Omni La Costa
14 Resorts Spa.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED bythe City Council ofthe City of Carlsbad, California
as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That Larry Magor, General Manager of Omni La Costa Resort & Spa is appointed to
the Carlsbad Tourism Business Improvement District Board for a term without
