3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, TO APPROVE THE FY 2013-2014 CONSOLIDATED
4 ANNUAL PERFORMANCE AND EVALUATION REPORT FOR THE
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM.

g WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad, is a recipient of federal Community Development
Block Grant (CDBG) funds administered by the United States Department of Housing and Urban
7 Development (HUD);
2 WHEREAS, a Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report is required
by the HUD for review of the City's performance in carrying out its Annual Strategy and in
relationship to meeting the City's overall five year priorities and strategies for housing and
community development;
11 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has considered the City's 2013-
2014 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report for the Community Development
^2 Block Grant Program; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has taken all testimony into account. 13

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
15 Carlsbad, California as follows:
16 1. The above recitations are true and correct.
"^^ 2. That the City of Carlsbad's FY 2013-2014 Consolidated Annual
-|^g Performance and Evaluation Report for the Community Development
Block Grant Program is hereby approved for submission to the United
19 States Department of Housing and Urban Development.
20 3. That the City of Carlsbad published a notice in a local general circulation
newspaper announcing a fifteen (15) day public review and comment
period on the FY 2013-2014 Consolidated Annual Performance and
22 Evaluation Report.
