A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
2 CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE
NORTHWEST QUADRANT STORM DRAIN (MADISON STREET),
4 PROJECT NO. 6608.

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of CaHsbad, California, has determined it
necessary, desirable, and in the public interest to construct the Northwest Quadrant Storm
Drain Improvement Program (Madison Street), Project No. 6608; and
WHEREAS, the plans and specifications for furnishing of all labor, materials, tools,
11 equipment, transportation, and other expenses necessary or incidental to the Northwest
12 Quadrant Storm Drain Improvement Program (Madison Street), Project No. 6608, have been
13
prepared and are on file in the Public Works Department of the City of Carisbad and are
14
incorporated herein by reference; and
15
WHEREAS, funding for said project has been appropriated from the Gas Tax Funds to
16
17 cover all project costs and is sufficient.
18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of CaHsbad,
19 Caiifornia, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the plans, specifications and contract documents for the Northwest
Quadrant Storm Drain Improvement Program (Madison Street), Project No. 6608, are on file in
the Public Works Department ofthe City of CaHsbad and are hereby approved.

25 3. The City Clerk of the City of CaHsbad is hereby authorized and directed to
26 publish, in accordance with State law, a Notice to Contractors Inviting Bids for the Northwest

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting ofthe City Council ofthe City
of Carlsbad on the 21st day of October 2014, by the following vote to wit:
