2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE COASTAL
RAIL TRAIL REACH 1, PROJECT NO. 4012 AS COMPLETE AND
4 DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO RECORD NOTICE OF COMPLETION AND
RELEASE BONDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH STATE LAW AND CITY
5 ORDINANCES.

7 WHEREAS, the construction ofthe Coastal Rail Trail Reach 1 was completed to the city's
8 satisfaction by Portillo Concrete, Inc. on August 28, 2014; and
WHEREAS, the formal Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of CaHsbad, California
as follows:

14 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
15 2. That the Coastal Rail Trail Reach 1, specifically identified as Project No. 4012 is

deemed complete and is hereby accepted by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad.
3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to
execute and record the Notice of Completion for the Coastal Rail Trail Reach 1,

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting ofthe City Council ofthe City
of Carlsbad on the 21st day of October 2014, by the following vote to wit:
