^ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
4 CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE
5 CONSTRUCTION OF THE PAVEMENT OVERLAY PROJECT NO. 6001-
140L.

^ WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, has determined it
necessary, desirable, and in the public interest to resurface city streets in accordance with the
city's ongoing Pavement Management Program; and
WHEREAS, the plans and specifications for furnishing of all labor, materials, tools,
12 equipment, transportation, and other expenses necessary or incidental to the Pavement
13 Overlay Project No. 6001-14OL, have been prepared and are on file in the Public Works
Department ofthe City of Carlsbad and are incorporated herein by reference; and
WHEREAS, there are sufficient Pavement Management Program funds available to
complete the Pavement Overlay Project No. 6001-14OL.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
19 California, as follows:
20 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.

2. That the plans, specifications, and contract documents for the Pavement Overlay
22
Project No. 6001-14OL, on file in the Public Works Department of the City of Carlsbad are
23
hereby approved.

25 3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to
26 publish, in accordance with State law, a Notice to Contractors Inviting Bids for the construction
27

1 of the Pavement Overlay Project No. 6001-14OL, in accordance with the plans, specifications,
and contract documents referred to herein.
