^ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
3 CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING OUT OF STATE TRAVEL FOR THE CHIEF
TECHONOLOGY OFFICER AND THE PROJECT MANAGEMENT
4 OFFICE MANAGER TO ATTEND THE GARTNER ENTERPRISE
ARCHITECTURE AND IT GOVERNANCE SUMMITS

g WHEREAS, the City Council concurs that it is in the public interest to authorize out-of-
7 state travel for the Chief Technology Officer and the Project Management Office Manager to
^ attend Gartner's Enterprise Architecture and IT Governance Summits in Grapevine, Texas; and
WHEREAS, these summits provide Important information on enterprise architecture and
IT governance and how these methodologies can drive business and technology innovation to
deliver value to the city organization in new ways; and

13 WHEREAS, the costs associated with this training and travel are covered by funds
14 available in the Information Technology fund.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows that:
1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. That out-of-state travel is hereby authorized in accordance with City policy, for the Chief

21 Enterprise Architecture and IT Governance Summits in Grapevine, Texas June 1 - June 4,
