2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
3 CALIFORNIA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE
4 FOR BIDS FOR THE ROMERIA DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT AND LA
COSTA AVENUE SLOPE REPAIR PROJECTS, PROJECT NOS. 6604 AND
5 6024.

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carisbad, California, has determined it necessary,

^ desirable, and in the public interest to construct the Romeria Drainage Improvements and La
Costa Avenue Slope Repair Projects, Project Nos. 6604 and 6024; and
11 WHEREAS, the plans and specifications for furnishing of all labor, materials, tools,
equipment, transportation, and other expenses necessary or incidental to the Romeria Drainage
Improvements and La Costa Avenue Slope Repair Projects, Project Nos. 6604 and 6024, have
been prepared and are on file in the Public Works Department of the City of Carlsbad and are
incorporated herein by reference; and

27 WHEREAS, funding for said projects has been appropriated from the Gas Tax and General
18 Capital Construction Funds to cover all project costs and is sufficient.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carisbad, California,

That the above recitations are true and correct.

22 2. That the plans, specifications and contract documents for the Romeria Drainage
24 Improvements and La Costa Avenue Slope Repair Projects, Project Nos. 6604 and 6024, are on
25 file in the Public Works Department of the City of Carlsbad and are hereby approved.
That the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to

publish, in accordance with State law, a Notice to Contractors Inviting Bids for the Romeria

in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents referred to herein.
