2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE RETROFIT OF FIELD LIGHTING
SYSTEMS AT CALAVERA HILLS AND STAGECOACH COMMUNITY
4 PARKS, CONTRACT NO. PWS14-38PKS, AS COMPLETE AND
DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO RECORD A NOTICE OF

7 WHEREAS, the retrofit of field lighting systems at Calavera Hills and Stagecoach
8 Community Parks, Contract No. PWS-14-38PKS, was substantially completed to the city's
^ satisfacrion by Ace Electric, Inc., on January 9, 2015; and
WHEREAS, the formal project Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carisbad,
24 California, as follows that:
15 1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. The retrofit of field lighting systems at Calavera Hills and Stagecoach Community

Parks, Contract No. PWS-14-38PKS, is deemed complete and the City Manager is

hereby authorized to execute the Acceptance of Public improvements attached
2Q hereto as Exhibit 2 on behalf of the City of Carlsbad.
21 3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to
22 execute and record the Notice of Completion for the retrofit of the lighting systems
at Calavera Hills and Stagecoach Community Parks, Contract No. PWS14-38PKS,
attached hereto as Exhibit 2a.
