2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
3 CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION
FROM LINDA SARNOWSKY TO THE CARLSBAD CITY LIBRARY IN THE
4 AMOUNT OF $10,125.18
5 WHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Library has received a donation of 98 stock shares with the

JQ services by purchasing additional materials for the Carlsbad City Library.
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California

Ij the received funds to the Library & Cultural Arts operating budget.
sold market value of $10,125.18 from Carlsbad resident and Friends of the Carlsbad Library
board member Linda Sarnowsky; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Sarnowsky has requested these funds be used to enhance library

2. That the City Council accepts with thanks the donation of $10,125.18 from
Ms. Sarnowsky and authorizes the Administrative Services Director to appropriate
