PUBLIC HEARING FOR APPROPRIATION LIMIT AS
REQUIRED BY ARTICLE XIIIB OF THE

7 WHEREAS, on May 19 and on June 9, 2015, the City Council set the June 23,
8 2015 date for the Public Hearing for appropriation limit for fiscal year 2015-16 for the City
of Carlsbad; and
WHEREAS, the public hearing notification was unable to be timely published in the
Union Tribune as required by Government Code sections 66014, 66016, 66018 and
6062(a); and
WHEREAS, the adoption date for this item should be continued to June 30, 2015,
j5 to meet publication requirements.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
17 Carlsbad, California, as follows:
18 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Carlsbad City Council continue the Public Hearing to June 30,
2015.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Joint Special Meeting ofthe Carlsbad City
Council, Carlsbad Municipal Water District Board of Directors, Community Development
Commission, City of Carlsbad as Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency and the Public
