1 RESOLUTION NO. 2015-167
designated as the Successor Agency for the Carlsbad Redevelopment Agency and, as
such, is responsible for the administrative responsibilities required to complete the work
of the former Carlsbad Redevelopment Agency and repay all enforceable obligations, and
WHEREAS, the City Council as the Successor Agency for the Carlsbad
Redevelopment Agency on May 19 and on June 9, 2015, set the June 23, 2015 date for

FOR FISCAL YEAR 2015-16.

8 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California has been

25 the Public Hearing for approving the operating budget of the successor agency and
16 enforceable obligations of the City of Carlsbad's Redevelopment Obligation Retirement
17 Fund for Fiscal Year 2015-16; and
18 WHEREAS, the public hearing notification was unable to be timely published in the

25 Carlsbad, California, as the Successor Agency for the Carlsbad Redevelopment Agency
26 as follows:
27 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.

Union Tribune as required by Government Code sections 66014, 66016, 66018 and
6062(a); and
WHEREAS, the adoption date for this item should be continued to June 30, 2015,
to meet publication requirements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of

1 2. That the Carlsbad City Council as the Successor Agency for the Carlsbad
2 Redevelopment Agency continue the Public Hearing to June 30, 2015.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Joint Special Meeting ofthe City of Carlsbad as
Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency, Carlsbad City Council, Carlsbad Municipal
Water District Board of Directors, Carlsbad Community Development Commission, and the
Carlsbad Public Financing Authority on the 23'^'' day of June, 2015, by the following vote to wit:
