2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
2 CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE
4 RENOVATION OF FIRE STATION NO. 2, PROJECT NO. 4713

WHEREAS, the City Council has determined it necessary, desirable, and in the public

7 interest to maintain public safety infrastructure in accordance with the Infrastructure
8 Replacement Fund; and
^ WHEREAS, the plans and specifications for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment,
and other necessary expenses to the renovation of Fire Station No. 2, Project No. 4713, have
been prepared and are on file in the Public Works Department ofthe City of Carlsbad and are
incorporated herein by reference.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California
15 asfollows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the plans, specifications, and contract documents for the renovation of Fire
Station No. 2, on file in the Public Works Department ofthe City of Carlsbad are

21 3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to publish,
22 in accordance with State law, a Notice to Contractors Inviting Bids for the
Construction of the Renovation of Fire Station No. 2 Project No. 4713, in
accordance with the plans specifications, and contract documents referred to
herein.

1 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City
2 of Carlsbad on the 28th day of July, 2015, by the following vote to wit:
