3 CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE 2014
SLURRY SEAL AS COMPLETE AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO
4 RECORD NOTICE OF COMPLETION AND RELEASE BONDS IN
ACCORDANCE WITH STATE LAW AND CITY ORDINANCES.

WHEREAS, the construction of the 2014 Slurry Seal was completed to the city's
satisfaction by American Asphalt South, Inc. on July 1, 2015; and
WHEREAS, the formal Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
IQ WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California
12 asfollows:
13 . . , That the above recitations are true and correct.

2. That the 2014 Slurry Seal, specifically identified as Project No. 6001-14SS, is

deemed complete and is hereby accepted by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad.

Ij 3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to execute
18 and record the Notice of Completion for the 2014 Slurry Seal, Project No. 6001-14SS.
