A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIT^F CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY JD PREPARE AN
IMPARTIAL ANALYSIS OF THE ORDINANC^PROPOSING THE
ADOPTION OF THE AGUA HEDIONDA SCmH SHORE SPECIFIC
PLAN
WHEREAS, a Special Municipal Election is Jo be held in the City of Carlsbad, California on
Tuesday, , 2015, for the purpose of/Ibmitting the following question:

WHEREAS, the City Cawncil desires to hav^an impartiaranalysis prepared showing the
effect ofthe ordinance oi^xisting law and the operatiorNaf the ordinance.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESO

the OTT^inance showing the effect of the ordinance on the existing law and the operation of the
ordinance.
SECTION 3. That the City Attorney impartial analysis shall not exceed 500 words
in length. Below the Impartial Analysis, the Ballot Pamphlet shall include the language
contained in Elections Code Section 9280 informing the voter how to receive a copy of the
Ordinance at no cost.

SECTION 4. That the City Attorney impartial analysis shall be filed in the Office of
the City Clerk by the date set by the City Clerk for the filing of rebuttal arguments.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certi^^o the passage and adoption of this
