2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ONE MEMBER TO THE
PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION. 3

WHEREAS, the term of Commission Member Leonard Martyns expired in August, 2015,

8 WHEREAS, there is currently a vacancy on the Parks and Recreation Commission, and
9 WHEREAS, Mr. Martyns was appointed in August, 2007, replacing Commission Member
Leo Pecheco, and was reappointed in August, 2011 for a term expiring in August, 2015.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council ofthe City of Carlsbad, California,
as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
