2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
3 CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE CARLSBAD
BOULEVARD OVERHEAD RAILING IMPROVEMENTS AND
4 RETAINING WALL REHABILITATION, PROJECT NOS. 6016 & 3557,
AS COMPLETE AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO RECORD NOTICE OF
5 COMPLETION AND RELEASE BONDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH STATE
LAW AND CITY ORDINANCES.

WHEREAS, the construction ofthe Carlsbad Boulevard Overhead Railing Improvements
8
and Retaining Wall Rehabilitation was completed to the city's satisfaction by Beador
9
YQ Construction Company, Inc. on Aug. 10, 2015; and
11 WHEREAS, the formal Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
12 WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California
14
as follows

The above recitations are true and correct

2. That the Carlsbad Boulevard Overhead Railing Improvements and Retaining Wall
18 Rehabilitation, specifically identified as Project Nos. 6016 & 3557, is deemed complete and is
hereby accepted by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad.
3. That the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to
execute and record the Notice of Completion for the Carlsbad Boulevard Overhead Railing
Improvements and Retaining Wall Rehabilitation, Project Nos. 6016 & 3557. 24 ///
