2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
3 CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING A CALENDAR OF THE DATES AND
LOCATIONS FOR REGULAR MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR
4 CALENDAR YEAR 2016.
5 WHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Council has determined it will establish its scheduled

IQ WHEREAS, special meetings ofthe City Council will be called as necessary following the
11 requirements ofthe Brown Act (Government Code §54956).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California
as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the 2016 calendar establishing the dates and locations for regular City Council
17 meetings is hereby approved.
18 3. That the 2016 calendar will be posted to the city's website.

WHEREAS, the Ralph M. Brown Act (Government Code §54954) provides for the
establishment of an annual regular meeting calendar procedure; and
