SECTION 2. That the City Council does direct, pursuant to the provisions of Section 9280
of the Elections Code of the State of California, to prepare an impartial analysis of the ordinance
showing the effect of the ordinance subject to the referendum on the existing law and the
operation of the ordinance.
SECTION 3. That the City Attorney impartial analysis shall not exceed 500 words in
length. Below the Impartial Analysis, the Ballot Pamphlet shall include the language contained
in Elections Code Section 9280 informing the voter how to receive a copy of the Ordinance at
no cost.
SECTION 4. That the City Attorney impartial analysis sha ll be filed in the Office of the
City Clerk by the date set by the City Clerk for the filing of rebuttal arguments.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this
resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions.
