RESOLUTION NO. 2016-007
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AN AWARD TO STAGELINE MOBILE
STAGE, INC., FOR THE PURCHASE OF A SL100 PORTABLE
OUTDOOR MOBILE STAGE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad approved the funding in the
FY 2015-16 budget to purchase a portable outdoor mobile stage; and
WHEREAS, funding to support minor public works projects for maintenance entrance
improvements to accommodate the mobile stage at Poinsettia Community Park and Alga Norte
Community Park is available in the Library & Cultural Arts Department operating budget; and
WHEREAS, the existing portable outdoor stage has been used for 20 years and is now
beyond it useful life; and
WHEREAS, the Cultural Arts Office staff issued a Request for Bids #16-08 resulting in one
reasonable bid from Stageline Mobile Stage, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California
as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. There is sufficient funding available in the FY 2015-16 Library & Cultural Arts
budget for the purchase of the portable outdoor mobile stage and the costs to
support minor public works projects at two parks.
3. The City Council ofthe City of Carlsbad, California, approves the award to purchase
a SLlOO portable outdoor mobile stage to Stageline Mobile Stage, Inc.
