RESOLUTION NO. 2016-014
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE
NORTHWEST QUADRANT STORM DRAIN PROGRAM-ROOSEVELT
NORTH, PROJECT NO. 6608.
EXHIBIT 1
WHEREAS, the City Council ofthe City of Carlsbad, California, has determined it necessary,
desirable, and in the public interest to construct the Northwest Quadrant Storm Drain Program
-Roosevelt North, Project No. 6608; and
WHEREAS, the plans and specifications for furnishing of al~ labor, materials, tools,
equipment, transportation, and other expenses necessary or incidental to the Northwest
Quadrant Storm Drain Program-Roosevelt North, Project No. 6608, have been prepared and are
on file in the Public Works Department of the City of Carlsbad and are incorporated herein by
reference; and
WHEREAS, funding for said projects has been appropriated from the Gas Tax Fund to
cover all project costs and is sufficient.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council ofthe City of Carlsbad, California,
as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the plans, specifications and contract documents for the Northwest
Quadrant Storm Drain Program -Roosevelt North, Project No. 6608, are on file in the Public
Works Department of the City of Carlsbad and are hereby approved.
3. That the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to
27 publish, in accordance with State law, a Notice to Contractors Inviting Bids for the Northwest

plans, specifications, and contract documents referred to herein.
