A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ONE MEMBER TO THE
ARTS COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, a vacancy was created following the resignation of Commissioner Joann
Johnson on September 2, 2015, and
WHEREAS, Ms. Johnson was appointed in July, 2011 to complete the term of Heath Fox,
and was subsequently reappointed in March 2014 to serve a four year term ending in March 2018,
and,
WHEREAS, there is currently a vacancy on the Arts Commission, and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California,
as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the following person is hereby appointed to serve on the Arts Commission for a
term ending in March, 2018.
