RESOLUTION NO. 2016-071
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, REVISING THE LOCATION OF REGULAR CITY COUNCIL
MEETINGS FOR THE REMAINDER OF CALENDAR YEAR 2016,
EXHIBIT 1
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Council has determined it will establish its scheduled
regular meetings annually by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Ralph M, Brown Act (Government Code §54954) provides for the
establishment of an annual regular meeting calendar procedure; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2015-263 on October 20, 2015
establishing the dates and locations for regular meetings of the Carlsbad City Council for
calendar year 2016; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to hold all of its Regular Meetings in the Carlsbad City
Council Chamber to accommodate more public participation and to have the ability to
broadcast the meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California
as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That all Regular Meetings of the Carlsbad City Council shall take place in the
Carlsbad City Council Chamber located at 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive, Carlsbad, CA
92008.
3. That the 2016 calendar reflecting the new location for the daytime meetings will
be posted to the city's website.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City
of Carlsbad on the 12th of April, 2016, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Hall, Wood, Schumacher, Blackburn, Packard.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
