2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA,ACCEPTING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE NORTH3
BATIQUITOS LIFT STATION PUMP REPLACEMENT,PROJECT NO.
4 5517,AS COMPLETE AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO RECORD
A NOTICE OF COMPLETION AND RELEASE BONDS IN ACCORDANCE
5 WITH STATE LAW AND CITY ORDINANCES.

7 WHEREAS,the construction of the North Batiquitos Lift Station Pump Replacement was
8 substantially completed to the city's satisfaction by Cora Constructors,Inc. on Dec. 9, 2015; and
9 WHEREAS,the final contract change order was executed on May 23, 2016; and
10
WHEREAS,the formal Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
11
WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.

13 NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California
14 as follows:
15 1.That the above recitations are true and correct.
16 2.That the North Batiquitos Lift Station Pump Replacement, specifically identified as
17
Project No. 5517 is deemed complete and is hereby accepted by the City Council of the City of
18
Carlsbad.

20 3.The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to execute
21 and record the Notice of Completion,attached hereto as Attachment A,for the North
22 Batiquitos Lift Station Pump Replacement, Project No. 5517.

1 PASSED,APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City
2 of Carlsbad on the 14th day of June, 2016, by the following vote to wit:
