2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
3 CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE CONSTRUCTION OF FIRE STATION 3,
PROJECT NO.4003,AS COMPLETE AND DIRECTING THE CITY
4 CLERK TO RECORD NOTICE OF COMPLETION AND RELEASE BONDS
IN ACCORDANCE WITH STATE LAW AND CITY ORDINANCES.

6 WHEREAS,the construction of Fire Station 3 was completed to the city's satisfaction by
7
Keeton Construction,Inc. on Feb. 11, 2016; and
8
WHEREAS,the formal Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
9
10 WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.
11 NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California
12 as follows:

1.That the above recitations are true and correct.

2.That Fire Station 3,specifically identified as Project No. 4003,is deemed complete
15

and is hereby accepted by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad.
17 3.The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to execute
18 and record the Notice of Completion,attached hereto as Attachment A,for Fire Station 3,
19 Project No. 4003.

1 PASSED,APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City
