1 RESOLUTION NO. 2016-135
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
3 CALIFORNIA,APPROVING ADJUSTMENTS TO THE FY 2015-16
OPERATING AND CAPITAL BUDGETS.

WHEREAS,an increase of $25,000 to the Golf Course operating budget for the
5
6 purchase of a core processor is recommended; and
7 WHEREAS,higher than anticipated claims and settlements were incurred in the
8 city's Workers' Compensation Fund, and a transfer of $500,000 from General Fund reserves is
9 recommended.

NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,

California,as follows:

13 1.That the above recitations are true and correct.
14 2.That the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,California,does hereby
15 authorize an appropriation of $25,000 from the Golf Course Operating Fund for the purchase of
16 a core processor.

3.That the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,California,does hereby
18
authorize an appropriation and transfer of $500,000 from the General Fund to the city's
19
20 Workers' Compensation Fund.

1 PASSED,APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Joint Special Meeting of the Carlsbad
2 City Council,Carlsbad Municipal Water District Board of Directors,Carlsbad Public Financing
3 Authority Board of Directors,Community Development Commission,and City of Carlsbad as
4
Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency,held on the 28th day of June,2016,by the
5
6 following vote to wit:

8 AYES:Hall, Wood, Schumacher, Blackburn, Packard.
9 NOES:None.
