2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
3 CARLSBAD,CALIFORNIA,APPOINTING TWO MEMBERS TO
THE LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES.

WHEREAS,the terms of Trustee Members Marie Bradley and Bob Benson expired in June
6
7 2016, and
8 WHEREAS,there is currently two vacancies on the Library Board of Trustees, and
9 WHEREAS,Ms.Bradley was appointed in February 2006 to fulfill the unexpired term of
10 Laura Page, and was subsequently reappointed to two full terms ending in June, 2016.

WHEREAS,Mr.Benson was appointed in September,2008 and was subsequently re-
12
appointed for a second term ending in June, 2016.

14 NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California,
15 as follows:
16 1.That the above recitations are true and correct.

18 2.That the following individuals are hereby appointed to serve on the Library Board of
19 Trustees for a term ending in June, 2020.

1 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of
2 Carlsbad on the 26th day of July, 2016, by the following vote to wit:
