RESOLUTION NO. 2016-221
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA,APPOINTING THREE MEMBERS TO THE TRAFFIC SAFETY
COMMISSION
WHEREAS,the terms of Commissioners Fox, Poka, and Dourson expired in July 2016; and
WHEREAS,there are currently three vacancies on the Traffic Safety Commission, and
WHEREAS,Commissioner Fox was appointed in August 2012 to replace Commissioner Roney
and is eligible for reappointment; and
WHEREAS,Commissioner Poka was appointed in May 2015 to replace Commissioner Wrisley
and is eligible for reappointment; and
WHERAS,Commissioner Dourson was appointed in October 2014 to replace Commissioner
Chauncey and is eligible for reappointment; and
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California,as
follows:
1.That the above recitations are true and correct.
2.That the following Carlsbad residents are hereby appointed to serve on the Traffic Safety
Commission,for a term ending in July 2020.

Monica Gocan
PASSED,APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad on the 25th day of October, 2016, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES:Hall, Wood, Schumacher, Blackburn, Packard.
NOES:None.
ABSENT:None.
