RESOLUTION NO. 2016-236
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ONE MEMBER TO THE SENIOR COMMISSION
WHEREAS,the terms of Commissioner Jack Nelson expired in September 2016; and
WHEREAS,there is currently one vacancy on the Senior Commission, and
WHEREAS,Commissioner Nelson was appointed in February 2005 to replace Commissioner
West and is not eligible for reappointment; and
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California,as
follows:
1.That the above recitations are true and correct.
2.That the following Carlsbad resident is hereby appointed to serve on the Senior
Commission, for a term ending in September 2020.

PASSED,APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad on the 29th day of November, 2016, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES:Hall, Wood, Schumacher, Blackburn, Packard.
NOES:None.
ABSENT:None.
