A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, REAPPOINTING ULRICH SAMIETZ TO THE CARLSBAD GOLF
LODGING BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT (CGLBID).
Exhibit 1
WHEREAS, the term of Board Member Ulrich Samietz expired in November 2016; and
WHEREAS, there is currently one vacancy on the CGLBID, and
WHEREAS, Board Member Ulrich was initially appointed in February 2015 to replace Board
Member Scott Allen. He is eligible for reappointment; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the following individual is hereby appointed to serve on the CGLBID, for a term
ending in November 2020.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad on the 14th day of March, 2017, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: M. Hall, K. Blackburn, M. Schumacher, C. Schumacher, M. Packard.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None. ~ MATI HALL, Mayor
