A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ONE MEMBER TO THE PARKS & RECREATION
COMMISSION

WHEREAS, Commissioner Jason Hansen was originally appointed to fill an unexpired term in
May 2014. He was reappointed in September 2015 for a term ending in August 2019; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Hansen resigned in June 2017; and
WHEREAS, there is currently one vacancy on the Parks & Recreation Commission, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the following Carlsbad resident is hereby appointed to serve on the Parks &
Recreation Commission, for a term ending in August 2019.
