A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING TWO MEMBERS TO THE CARLSBAD GOLF
LODGING BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT ADVISORY BOARD
EXHIBIT 2
WHEREAS, there is a vacancy on the Carlsbad Golf Lodging Business Improvement District
(CGLBID) Advisory Board; and
WHEREAS, the CGLBID Advisory Board has an unanticipated vacancy for a term ending in
November 2020 due to the resignation of Ulrich Samietz representing the Park Hyatt Aviara.
WHERAS, the CGLBID Advisory Board will have a scheduled vacancy in November 2018 for a
term ending in November 2022; and
WHEREAS, existing Board Member Tim Stripe has requested reappointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council of the City of Carlsbad hereby appoints the following members to
serve on the CGLBID Advisory Board, for a term ending in November 2020 and
November 2022 respectively.

Tim Stripe
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad on the 16th day of October, 2018, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: M. Hall, K. Blackburn, M. Schumacher, C. Schumacher, M. Packard.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
