RESOLUTION NO. 2019-004
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA,
APPOINTING MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO THE SAN DIEGO ASSOCIATION OF
GOVERNMENTS {SANDAG) BOARD OF DIRECTORS
WHEREAS, Government statute requires that the City Council appoint a primary representative and
alternates to the San Diego Association of Governments {SAN DAG) Board of Directors; and
WHEREAS, SANDAG requests that the appointments be made no later than the first regular City Council
meeting in 2019.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the following Carlsbad City Council Member is hereby appointed as Primary Member to the San
Diego Association of Governments Board of Directors, for a term ending in December 2019 or until
replacements are appointed.
Primary Member: Council Member Schumacher
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 8th
day of January, 2019, by the following vote, to wit:

NOES:
ABSENT:
P. Bhat-Patel, C. Schumacher, B. Hamilton.
M . Hall, K. Blackburn.
None.
3. That the following Carlsbad City Council Members are hereby appointed as Alternates to the San
Diego Association of Governments Board of Directors, for a term ending in December 2019 or until
replacements are appointed.
First Alternate Member: Council Member Hamilton
Second Alternate Member: Council Member Bhat-Patel
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 8th
day of January, 2019, by the following vote, to wit:
