A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ONE MEMBER TO THE ARTS COMMISSION
Exhibit 1
WHEREAS, Commissioner Cathy Breslaw was initially appointed to the Arts Commission in
February 2016; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Breslaw resigned on January 30, 2019; and
WHEREAS, an unscheduled vacancy on the Arts Commission exists.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the following Carlsbad resident is hereby appointed to serve on the Arts
Commission, for a term ending in March 2020.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad on the 16th day of April 2019, by the following vote, to wit:
