A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING A VOTING DELEGATE AND ALTERNATES FOR THE
LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES ANNUAL CONFERENCE IN LONG BEACH,
CALIFORNIA, OCTOBER 16-18, 2019
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad is a member of the League of California Cities; and
Exhibit 1
WHEREAS, as a member, the City of Carlsbad is entitled to vote on resolutions that establish
League policy at the Annual Business Meeting scheduled for 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 18, 2019 in Long
Beach, California; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the following are designated as the Voting Delegate and Alternates for the League
of California Cities Annual Conference representing the City of Carlsbad:
Voting Delegate: Mayor Pro Tern Bhat-Patel
Voting Delegate Alternate: Council Member Schumacher
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad on the 20th day of August 2019, by the following vote, to wit:
