A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA,
APPOINTING ONE MEMBER TO THE HOUSING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Commissioner Joy Evans was initially appointed to the Housing Commission in the
Rental Assistance Senior Category in May 2016 to fill the expired term of Commissioner
Bradwell; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Evans term has expired in July 2019; and
WHEREAS, a scheduled vacancy on the Housing Commission in the Rental Assistance Senior
Category exists.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the following Carlsbad resident is hereby appointed to serve on the Housing
Commission in the Rental Assistance General Category, for a term ending in July 2023.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad on the 27th day of August 2019, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Hall, Bhat-Patel, Blackburn, Schumacher, Hamilton.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: None.
