A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ONE MEMBER TO THE SENIOR COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Commissioner David Tweedy was initially appointed to the Senior Commission in
April 2011; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Tweedy was reappointed in September 2011 and October 2015; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Tweedy is not eligible for reappointment; and
WHEREAS, a scheduled vacancy on the Senior Commission exists.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the following Carlsbad resident is hereby appointed to serve on the Senior
Commission for a term ending in September 2023.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad on the 24th day of September 2019, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Hall, Blackburn, Bhat-Patel, Schumacher.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: Hamilton.
