A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ONE MEMBER TO THE PARKS & RECREATION
COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Commissioner Jodi Rudick Stein was initially appointed to the Parks & Recreation
Commission in Aug. 2011; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Rudick Stein was reappointed in Sept. 2016; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Rudick Stein is not eligible for reappointment; and
WHEREAS, a scheduled vacancy on the Parks & Recreation Commission exists.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the following Carlsbad resident is hereby appointed to serve on the Parks &
Recreation Commission for a term ending in Aug. 2023.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad on the 8th day of October 2019, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Hall, Blackburn, Bhat-Patel, Schumacher, Hamilton.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: None.
