A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING REVISIONS TO THE CITY OF CARLSBAD
PART-TIME SALARY SCHEDULE AND PAY INCREASES FOR PART-TIME
EMPLOYEES WHO ARE BELOW THE NEW MINIMUM WAGE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California has determined the need to comply
with the California state minimum wage hourly rates as set by Senate Bill No. 3; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined the need to revise the Part-
Time Salary Schedule; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has authorized pay increases for part-time
employees who are below the new minimum wage.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council ofthe City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That Attachment A, Part-Time Salary Schedule, attached hereto is hereby
adopted.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting ofthe City Council ofthe City of
Carlsbad on the 17th day of December 2019, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Hall, Blackburn, Bhat-Patel, Schumacher.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: None.
