A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ONE SOUTHEAST QUADRANT RESIDENT
REPRESENTATIVE TO THE HOUSING ELEMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, on Sept. 10, 2019 the City Council established the nine-member Housing Element
Advisory Committee by adoption of Resolution No. 2019-170; and
WHEREAS, the City Council determined that the composition of the Committee shall be:
• One Northwest Quadrant resident representative
• One Northeast Quadrant resident representative
• One Southwest Quadrant resident representative
• One Southeast Quadrant resident representative
• One At-Large (citywide) resident representative
• One Housing Commissioner
• One Planning Commissioner
• One Senior Commissioner
• One Traffic & Mobility Commissioner
WHEREAS, a vacancy in the Southeast Quadrant resident category currently exists.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the following Carlsbad resident is hereby appointed to serve on the Housing
Element Advisory Committee to represent the Southeast Quadrant for a term ending in
December 2020.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad on the 17th day of December 2019, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Hall, Blackburn, Bhat-Patel, Schumacher.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: None.
