A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO THE NORTH
COUNTY TRANSIT DISTRICT (NCTD) BOARD OF DIRECTORS
WHEREAS, Government statute requires that the City Council appoint a primary representative
and alternates to the North County Transit District (NCTD) Board of Directors; and
WHEREAS, NCTD requests that the appointments be made no later than the first regular City
Council meeting in 2020.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the following Carlsbad City Council Members are hereby appointed to the North
County Transit District Board of Directors, for a term ending in December 2020 or until
replacements are appointed.
Primary Member: Priya Bhat-Patel
Alternate Member: Keith Blackburn
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad on the 14th day of January 2020, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Hall, Blackburn, Bhat-Patel, Schumacher.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: None.
