DESIGN REVIEW BOARD RESOLUTION NO. 029
A RESOLUTION OF THE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A REDEVELOPMENT
PERMIT TO ALLOW AN AUTO BODY REPAIR SERVICE AND UPHOLSTERY SHOP ON PROPERTY GENERALL LOCATED AT
2586-2598 STATE STREET.
APPLICANT: CARCOA, INC.
CASE NO. : RP 84-2
WHEREAS, a verified application has been filed with the City
of Carlsbad and referred to the Design Review Board: and
WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request as
provided by Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code: and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Code,
the Design Review Board did on the 22nd day of February, 1984, hold
2 duly noticed public hearing to consider said application on
?roperty described as:
The southeasterly half of lot 22 of Seaside Lands,
according to Map No. 1722 filed July 28, 1971.
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and considering
sll testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons desiring to
De heard, said Board considered all factors relating to RP 84-2.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Design Review
3oard of the City of Carlsbad, as follows:
4) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct.
3) That based on the evidence presented at the public hearing,
the Board APPROVES RP 84-2 based on the following findings:
PINDINGS:
L) The proposed project satisfies all the development standards
and design criteria of V-R (RP) Zone.
That the proposed project is compatible with the goals and policies of the Village Design Manual. 2)
3) That the project is compatible with the surrounding uses.

Conditions:
Land Use Planning Office
1) All repair work and storage shall take place inside the building.
2) The Roosevelt and south side frontages shall be landscaped
to the approval of the Community Redevelopment Manager.
3) This application shall be reviewed on a yearly basis by the Design Review Board to ensure compatibility with Sub-area 6.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a special meeting of the
Design Review Board of the City of Carlsbad, California, held on
the 22nd day of February, 1984, by the followinq vote, to wit:

ABSTAIN: NONE
ABSENT: HOLMES
