DESIGN REVIEW BOARD RESOLUTION NO. 056
A RESOLUTION OF THE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A MINOR REDEVELOPMENT PERMIT TO INSTALL A PORTABLE FLOWER STAND ON PROPERTY ADJACENT TO ALT KARLSBAD AT 2802 CARLSBAD BOULEVARD.
APPLICANT: CAROL'S FRESH CUT FLOWERS CASE NO. : RP 85-15
WHEREAS, a verified application has been filed with the
City of Carlsbad $nd referred to the Design Review Board; and
WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request
as provided by Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Code,
the Design Review Board did on the 14th day of August, 1985,
hold a meeting to consider said application on property located
adjacent to Alt Karlsbad, 2802 Carlsbad Boulevard.
WHEREAS, at said meeting upon hearing and considering all
testimony and arguments, if any, of of all persons desiring to
be heard, said Board considered all factors relating to RP 85-15.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Design Review
Board of the City of Carlsbad, as follows:
A) Taht the foregoing recitations are true and correct.
B) That based on the evidence presented at the meeting, the
Board recommends APPROVAL of RP 85-15, based on the
following findings:
FINDINGS:
1) The proposed project satisfies all the development standards
and design criteria of the V- R (RP) Zone.
2) That the proposed project is compatible with the goals
and policies of the Village Design Manual.
3) That the project is compatible with the surrounding uses.
CONDITIONS
4) The applicant will obtain an encroachment permit from the
City of Carlsbad.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Design Review Board of the City of Carlsbad, California, held
on the 14th day of August, 1985, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES : Commissioners McCoy Rombotis Holmes Marcus, and
NOES : None
