DESIGN REVIEW BOARD RESOLUTION NO. 094
A RESOLUTION OF THE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DENYING WITHOUT PREJUDICE A
REDEVELOPMENT PERMIT FOR REMODELING AND ADDITIONS TO
EXISTING BUILDINGS ON PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT
2939-2971 CARLSBAD BOULEVARD.
APPLICANT: TOWN SQUARE
CASE NO: RP-84-7
WHEREAS, a verified application has been filed with the
City of Carlsbad and referred to the Design Review Board; and
WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request
as provided by Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code: and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal
Code, the Design Review Board did, on the 18th day of February,
1987, hold a duly noticed public hearing to consider said
application on property described as:
Parcels 3, 4, 5, and 13 of Block 232 of Tract 95 of
Carlsbad Lands, according to Map 661.
WHEREAS, at said hearing, upon hearing and considering
all testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons desiring to be
heard, said Board considered all factors relating to RP-84-7.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Design Reviea
Board of the City of Carlsbad as follows:
(A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct.
(B3 That based on the evidence presented at the public hearing,
the Board denies without prejudice RP-84-7, based on the
following findings and subject to the following conditions:

Findings:
1. The applicant is not actively processing the proposed
project.
2. The proposed project has numerous unresolved design
problems.
3. There is inadequate information on the plans submitted with
this application to allow for a complete review of this
project.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Design Review Board of the City of Carlsbad, California, held on
the 18th day of February, 1987, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES : Commissioners, Rombotis, Hall, Holmes, McCoy, McFadden
