DESIGN REVIEW BOARD RESOLUTION NO. 096
A RESOLUTION OF THE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD OF THE CITY OF
C RLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DENYING WITHOUT PREJUDICE A
REDEVELOPMENT PERMIT TO PLACE 68 MOVABLE RENTAL STORAGE
MODULES IN THE AT + SF RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY ON PROPERTY
GENERALLY LOCATED BEHIND 2531 STATE STREET.
APPLICANT: ROBINSON
CASE NO: RP-86-10
WHEREAS, a verified application has been filed with the
City of Carlsbad and referred to the Design Review Board; and
WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request
as provided by Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal
Code, the Design Review Board did, on the 18th day of February,
1987, hold Q duly noticed public hearing to consider said
application on property described as:
Lots 15, 16, 17, and a portion of Lot 18 in Seaside Lands
in the City of Carlsbad, according to Map No. 1772, filed
July 29, 1921.
WHEREAS, at said hearing, upon hearing and considering
all testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons desiring to be
heard, said Board considered all factors relating to RP-86-10.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Design Review
Board of the City of Carlsbad as follows:
(A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct.
(B) That based on the evidence presented at the public hearing,
the Board denies without prejudice RP-86-10, based on the
following findings and subject to the following conditions:

The applicant is not actively processing the proposed
project .
There is inadequate information on the plans submitted with
this application to allow for a complete review of this
project.
The proposed project has numerous design problems.
The proposed use is not permitted in the TC - Transportation
Corridor Zone, in which the applicant proposes to locate it.
The proposed project is incompatible with the goals of the
Carlsbad Redevelopment Plan.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Design Review Board of the City of Carlsbad, California, held on
the 18th day of February, 1987, by the following
vote, to wit:
